Pork Adobo

INGREDIENTS:

1 kilo pork
1 cup vinegar
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 head garlic
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon peppercorns
1 tsp. brown sugar
2-3 pcs. bay leaves
cooking oil
garlic for toppings

PROCEDURE:


1. In a deep skillet, brown pork in oil.

2. Add garlic, vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, peppercorns, bay leaves and water. Do NOT stir.

3. Bring to a boil, lower the heat and cook for another 15 minutes or until pork becomes tender.

4. Heat oil in another pan. Cook garlic until golden brown. Put on top of the cooked adobo.
